Vegetarian? Vegan?

Hiya guys
How about a journal that's not complaining or asking for anything? I haven't done one of those in a while, have I? Lol

SO, I want to go vegan. I've tried going vegetarian several times, but every time people just keep harping on me about "Well, if you won't eat meat because you care about animals, why do you drink milk/eat eggs/ wear leather/ breathe air/ blah blah blah" okay, so that last one was just a joke but really, people just like to pick and pick at you when you make a choice like that! But I think the most frustrating thing was that they're right!

I found a really helpful list of vegan-friendly foods on PETA's kid-friendly site (idk why I like that site better than the adult version.. no pictures and videos of horrible acts, I guess) and it really makes it sound so simple to become vegan. I also have been part of a few groups on facebook dedicated to it, since I have tried before.

I really think I'm gonna do it this time. None of that "I'll just go vegetarian for now since it's easier, and maybe I'll go vegan later..." crap. Nope. Just cold-turkey...

As soon as I finish off the milk because I just bought a whole gallon and throwing it out is not going to save any cows XD

On another note, I got my schedule made for my first semester of grad school!! Yippee!

I'm taking some pretty cool classes too! Functions and Methods of Research in Education, Psychopathology, Drug Use and Abuse, and Systems of Psychological Treatment. Full load XD I wanted to take more but I was advised to take it easy, since grad classes are way harder than undergrad. Just get my feet wet this first semester XD  But I'm super excited to start. I also ordered book today ^_^ Gotta go back and get my ID because I forgot it XD They told me the parking decal is like $200 and I was in shock! I told them I live close enough to walk and walked right out of there XD lol I don't start class any day of the week until 2 anyway, so it's not like I'll be walking during the cold mornings, and it never really gets THAT cold here. And my sweet Gweg can drive me and drop me off when it's raining ^_^ He already said he'd be happy to.  Oh, the joys and privileges of being married! haha!

Okay, I'm done ranting about my life ^_^ I'll let you guys get back to your arts and stuffs
